Reduced Fees Course

ONLY £65 PER WEEK

These courses consist of 16 hours per week, and are as follows:

10 hours:
2 lessons (1 hour each) per day, Monday to Friday. With a trainee teacher under supervision and not charged as part of the £60 fee.

These courses are organised in part as teaching practice for trainee teachers at ITTC, the International Teaching and Training Centre, which is a division of BEET Language Centre. The trainee teachers are studying for the University of Cambridge CELTA or DELTA qualifications. It is important to understand that most teachers in these sessions are not yet qualified, so the quality of teaching will vary. All trainees are fully supervised by a Cambridge approved trainer.

IMPORTANT:
1. The £65 fee covers the 6 hours on the Options Programme, welfare services, the evening programme, language laboratory, computer and internet facilities and administrative costs.
2. The ten 1-hour lessons with trainee teachers may be offered free to other students in Bournemouth.
3. Students must attend all lessons.
4. For students who need a visa, these courses comply with Home Office requirements for 15 contact-hours minimum per week.
5. Lessons are usually in the afternoon Monday to Friday. However, on some courses, lessons may be in the morning.

Facilities
Students have access to BEET Language Centres facilities, including computer centres (total 30 computers) with free internet on ADSL broadband, wireless, language laboratory units, library and bookshop, cafeteria and free parking.

Extra-Curricular Programme
Students have free access to the evening programme of lectures on British Culture, films, music sessions, comedy theatre, quizzes etc. BEET organises regular Saturday excursions and occasional evening trips during the week to the New Forest etc. These are at extra cost. The average cost of an excursion is £18, and an evening trip costs around £8.

Course Fees
Price per 2 weeks :£ 130 Course Code: RFC Course lengths are from 2 weeks to a maximum of 24 weeks.

* There is no CELTA course this week, and so no free lessons. However, students may attend the Options Programme (8 lessons per week) and continue using the schools facilities.
